To All Members;

The Club itself is not fully open yet for racing etc. However, the Club House can be opened if the rescue boat is required and masks must be worn should members wish to sail on club days providing they adhere to the guidelines.

Also please note there are no facilities available.

In respect of membership fees we have started to collect these, however to make it easier for some if you wish to pay by cheque, via the post, or want to pay via BACS banking then please email me separately and I can give you the Clubs Bank details or my address for you to post a cheque to.

Thanks Keith Hawes

We at the Brightlingsea Model Boat Club offer a great friendly atmosphere with members from all walks of life, some working and others retired with backgrounds from Engineering, Army, Electronics, Ambulance Service and Boat Makers, all of whom have varying levels of experience in sailing.

We sail on a Wednesday and Sunday 52 weeks of the year; 8am – 1pm, with weekly races e.g. barge races, one metre and super yacht (any size) races, plus electric boat competitions, pursuit races as well as general sailing around the pond

We cater for all sorts of model boats except for IC and really fast electric craft (in consideration of the wildlife on and around the lake)

New members are always welcome.

Come along and meet us at our clubhouse, or email Keith Hawes;Club Secretary Email; hawesk091@gmail.com
